The Control Room #2

Where the magic happens!

FactorVision Studios is an evolving creation of a studio concept that has been around for nearly a decade.  Beginning around 2008 in a townhouse bedroom in Marietta, GA, Tony Giordano unofficially started the studio when he needed a way to process all the shows he recorded with the bands he performed.  While he began recording and writing music entirely on his own, the bulk of his session work involved putting these live shows up on websites like archive.org.

For the first few years, Tony worked with a Cubase recording interface.  By the time he joined the band Lingo in 2010, he would come into possession the band’s Pro Tools rig.  When the band recorded their Rearrange EP in the Spring of 2012, Tony was comfortable enough with the system to take a lead role in the recording, editing and mixing of the EP.

In 2014, he took the studio to the next level, upgrading his system to Pro Tools 11 and utilized the Universal Audio Apollo interface along with all the plugins and preamps UA provides.  His focus was to make the studio both static in one main location, and also mobile to any area a band wanted to record, be it a live music venue, a cabin in the mountains, etc.  The purpose was to give artists the flexibility towards the kind of record they would want to create.

Currently residing in a basement in the suburbs of Woodstock, GA, FactorVision Studios has recorded and produced tracks by Takiya Mason, Lauren Miller and Lingo, and has mixed and mastered a variety of multi-track live shows from Bumpin the Mango, Lingo, Last Waltz Ensemble, Tommy Talton and other artists.  Tony G, known as The G-Factor and studio owner, is currently taking clients that are looking to record and/or need a space to rehearse.
